Karen Duve, PCM, CDMP

My name is Karen, nice to meet you! I am a passionate, creative marketing professional. I’m always looking to diversify my experience, grow, or challenge myself.

I started out in an agency managing and launching new websites/brands, where I really strengthened my technical and trouble-shooting skills. However, I have always had a strong passion for volunteering. I’ve volunteered with organizations like Best Buddies, Survivor Tails, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Lowell Humane Society for Animals and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

My passion for helping others motivated me to make a move into the non-profit sector after my agency work. Through this interest, I was lucky enough to start working in the nonprofit sector where I  managed the branding/communications initiatives of a local nonprofit that worked directly with the commercial real estate industry. After this role, I was able to work for a local nonprofit in the Los Angeles area, gaining skills in even more areas within the youth/entertainment industry! If I had to choose, my primary area of focus within nonprofit would have to be animal welfare and special needs.  Throughout all this, I’ve been consistently freelancing, designing, and providing consulting to growing brands and working on my Etsy shop as a hobby.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to different places to experience different cultures and food with my husband. I also like to read and foster different animals. When I’m not working, you can find me desperately trying to be a good cook.
